How did you come up with your stage name?
I got my stage name because i was a big dude with bars people called me Biggie. Which i always took as a compliment but i wanted to be my own person. Big Not (I am Not Big)
What do you feel like the music scene is like for independent artists like yourself in your city
In Detroit the Music scene is buzzing in the industry for really the time ever. A lot moves are being made and a lot of artist are making money independently and getting deals.
For those who havent heard your music how would you describe it?
Reality Rap. Real Life Real situations. Almost more spoken word than a rapper. I’m ghetto Shakesphere.
What is something that you want people to take away from when listening to your music?
I would like people to hear the authenticity and feel like i gave them all of me. To hear the effort and work put it in to the music and they like they got their moneys worth.
What is something that is a must have when you are recording?
No interuputions, I mostly record alone..since im am engineer as well..
If you had to select an artist you wanted to work with who would it be and why?
I would probably say Jay-z
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years with your music career?
I see myself in a postion to be one of the most sought after people to work with. I didnt say artist because Im an engineer and producer as well.
